Welcome to the Ventura Police Officers Association
It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of our Bunko Tournament.
We appreciate the support from our community, however there was not enough participation to proceed.
Special thanks to all the members of Rolling for Pink who invested their time and efforts towards this event.

Sergeant Dowell is the only Ventura Police Officer killed in the line of duty. Dee was shot and killed serving an arrest warrant for two robbery suspects in August 1978. Sergeant Dowell exemplified a strong work ethic and dedication to the citizens of Ventura. In his honor, the Ventura Police Officers Association is proud to sponsor this scholarship program for college-bound students.
The Dee Dowell Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students
who plan to devote themselves to a career in public service.
The Dee Dowell Scholarship Fund was created in 2002. Since its inception, the Ventura Police Officers Association has provided financial assistance to 44 college- bound students.
With your generous support, we can help even more students obtain a college education.
